Garden Design in Beckenham

At this South Eden Park Road property in Beckenham, Kent, the clients had recently completed a large, modern extension and were ready to turn their attention to the garden. The existing outdoor space was bare and uninspiring, and the brief was to create a colourful, functional family garden that balanced planting, play, and entertaining.

​Key features included a golf putting green, integrated garden storage, and a spacious terrace for dining and barbecuing. The garden backs onto a busy junction, so improving privacy was essential, but the clients also wanted to maintain the open feel and view of the surrounding trees. The challenge was to introduce effective screening without closing off the garden entirely.
